EFT (EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES) is most simply described as a form of emotional acupressure – like acupuncture but mercifully without the use of needles! It is a safe and non-invasive technique which is slowly but surely making inroads into mainstream healthcare. As the NHS creaks under the demand for its services to address illness, energy-based modalities such as EFT are offering a dynamic approach to maintaining wellness. EFT is recognised as a bona-fide therapy by the British Association of Counselling and I often integrate it into my talk-based counselling sessions with clients who are open to working in this way. Gentle tapping on the energy meridians of the body can neutralize disruptions in an individual’s energy system. DIS-EASE in your energy system which is not addressed can eventually show up as disease in your body. Whether it is used as a stand-alone therapy or as form an adjunct to other forms of help, EFT can often bring relief and resolution to physical and emotional problems where other approaches have failed.

You don’t need to be deeply traumatised to benefit from EFT. It can simply be built into your life as a fabulous relaxation and self-care tool. When coupled with my Energy Balancing sessions it can be used in a focused way to address a huge range of difficulties such as:-
